Not much is going on in the Munich Hotel Vierjahreszeiten during these weeks of the shutdown light.

Axel Schulz, 52, is still not safe from people who want a photo with him on the eve of the first Advent.

A woman his age asks politely - and receives her picture with the tall man in front of the mighty Christmas tree in the lobby.

Schulz grins broadly, his eyes narrowed to slits, a blue baseball cap on his bald head.

A quarter of a century ago he was a big boxer.

Now he's booked for the night as an expert on the pay-TV channel Sky, the station is broadcasting "the comeback fight in boxing history" from Los Angeles: Mike Tyson versus Roy Jones junior, both over fifty, two men from the Schulz generation.

Sky wanted to book his co-commentator a hotel near the studio, on the outskirts of the city.

But Schulz preferred to rent the five-star hotel in the center, he appreciates the smoker's lounge.

The ex-athlete is a passionate cigar paffer, even has his own cigar production, "Shorties, nice and mild," he explains, the box of four at 35 euros.
