After the trade between Houston and Washington that sent Russell Westbrook to the capital, the controversial star arrived for the first time yesterday (Saturday) at the team's training camp and joined his teammates in intensive preparation for the opening of the NBA season in about two weeks.
Washington posted on social media today the first meeting between Westbrook and the Israeli diamond, Danny Abdia, who was selected by the team in the draft at the end of November.
"I met him for the first time. I asked him what he did as a rookie. He's a smart guy, Allstar, I can learn a lot from him and I'm one who likes to learn," Abdia told the official website.
After the reunion, Abdia uploaded a story on his personal Instagram with a photo from the exciting reunion and added the caption: "Live the dream."
