The Spanish handball team won a landslide victory over its Uruguayan counterpart in the second round of Group A of the main round of the World Championship in Egypt.
The Seventh Day website stated that the Spain team clearly outperformed and ended the first half with a score of 24-12 and continued to excel in the second half in light of the great differences in capabilities and experience between the two teams, ending the match with a score of 38-23.
With this victory, Spain raised its tally to 7 points, to lead the Group A standings, one point ahead of Hungary, while Uruguay was stuck without points in last place.
