Two of the surprises of the season in the Premier League Maccabi Petah Tikva and MS.
Ashdod provided a great thriller tonight (Saturday), at the end of which the Malavas won 1: 2 in the 92nd minute.
In doing so, Guy Luzon's team managed to break a streak of three games without a win and skipped Ashdod to third place, three days before hosting Hapoel Haifa.
That of Ran Ben Shimon is stopped after two consecutive victories and hopes to recover against Bnei Yehuda on Wednesday.
Sagiv Yehezkel scored first (16), Armando Cooper equalized from the penalty spot (23), and after Liel Abda's goal was disqualified after a long VAR check, the prodigy managed to slam the win in extra time - and this time it was a strictly legal goal.
All of Maccabi Petah Tikva's last three victories were thanks to a goal in extra time.
Guy Luzon celebrated the three dramatic points and said: "In the last game against Kfar Saba we were not enjoyed, we knew we had to go back to being bad boys, bad guys, stressful, aggressive and not afraid. "Today. It's thanks to our guys. We are completely different from what we showed in the last game, we went back to being Maccabi Petah Tikva and that is what brought us the victory."
On Liel Abda, who was honored at the victory gate, the coach said: "In my opinion, if there was not all the media buzz and what was around him, we would have a few more points. There is no doubt that it affected him and it is natural to choose so young. Liel is mature and the league timeout made him relax "I have full faith that he will stay until the end of the season."
Armando Cooper who scored the first said: "I came home and I am very good here. I am very happy with the game, all the players gave 100 percent."

On the other hand, Ran Ben Shimon said: "Disappointed with the result, also with how we played, also with how we reacted. We were not good, not sharp, our ball movement is the most important tool for us and today we were many times late. It was a draw, and this time it went in that direction "Second. We have to get through it. We have to get stronger from the inside, from the existing staff. We have to look at the players who are our skeleton, how they bring a little more precision and sharpness out of themselves. We have an excellent staff without bringing anyone from outside."
