Just about a month ago, Vladimir Ivitch was sacked from Watford and it looks like the Serbian coach was close to returning to work at the Championship this week.
According to a report in the English "Sun", last week Sheffield Wednesday from the bottom of the sub-league, submitted an offer to ex-Maccabi Tel Aviv but Ivica decided to respond in the negative to the offer for a comeback.
It is further reported that despite the 43-year-old coach's undisguised desire to return to coaching English football, Ivica now prefers the time to consider a number of other options that lie ahead.
As you may recall, Pauk Saloniki also expressed interest in the Serbian manager, where he coached even before the successful term in Kiryat Shalom.
The affair between Ivica and Watford ended last month after the Serb and his team received a dismissal notice after 20 rounds and after a media confrontation with the club’s sergeant and captain, Troy Dini.
