Manchester City jumped to the top of the Premier League with a 5-0 win over West Bromwich Albion today.
City, who scored three goals in the first half hour, now has 41 points, one point behind rivals Manchester United after each team has played 19 matches, but United will regain the top if they beat bottom-ranked Sheffield United at Old Trafford tomorrow.
This is City's 11th consecutive victory in all competitions.
West Brom remained in second place with 11 points, six points behind the safety zone.
The team has conceded 22 goals in their last five home matches in the league.
