Police uncovered a loud party at a Tel Aviv hotel over the weekend in blatant violation of Ministry of Health guidelines.
Police found a substance suspected of being a cocaine-type substance when one of those present at the scene - a football player from the National League - sexually harassed the policewoman and was arrested.
The cops dispersed the party and fined the spenders.
The police conducted an enforcement operation in Tel Aviv over the weekend, during which the police located a noisy party in a hotel in Rahanav Hayarkon.
When the Lev Tel Aviv police entered the apartment, they noticed many passers-by in the place without masks and in blatant violation of the guidelines of the Ministry of Health.
The police smelled a strong odor of drugs and a search found the suspect substance as a cocaine-type drug weighing about 17 grams that fell from the pants pocket of one of the passers-by and the police arrested him.
According to the police, the suspect forcibly opposed his arrest and even sexually harassed the policewoman with a statement of a sexually explicit nature.
Tel Aviv Heart Station police dispersed the party, arrested the suspect, a footballer in his 20s from Or Akiva, and fined those who spent time there for violating the guidelines of the Ministry of Health.
The suspect was brought to the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court for a hearing on the extension of his detention, so the court ordered his release on restrictive guarantees, including house arrest for 5 days.
