The Washington Wizards (10:17) opened its Western Week with a 111: 118 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers (11:18), its fourth in a row.
Now the team from the US capital holds the longest winning streak in the league, after Brooklyn.
Danny Abdia came off the Scott Brooks bench and played just 11 minutes (his least this season) and provided just 2 points with 1 of 1 from the field, to which he added 3 rebounds.
Russell Westbrook recorded one of his best games this season with 27 points, 13 assists and 11 rebounds, the No. 8 triple-double this season - one more than the amount John Wall has accumulated in all his years in Washington.
Russell did so in his only 20 games.
Bradley Bill led the scenes as usual with 37 points, Roy Hachimura added 17 and Robin Lopez off the bench with a double-double of 10 points and 11 rebounds.
Portland stopped after 6 straight wins despite Damien Lillard scoring 35 points and adding 12 assists.
Rape Canter contributed 19 and 13 rebounds and Robert Covington finished with 11 points and 11 rebounds.
Lillard scored a typical three from the logo with the buzzer of the third quarter and lifted the host to an 89:92 lead at the entrance to the fourth quarter.
The Trail Blazers led 93:96 with 8:40 left until the end of the game, but then the Wizards took control of the game with a 2:10 run that passed the advantage to the visitors, which Danny Abdia's team managed to keep until the end.
Washington and Abdia will continue their journey in the West when they meet the champion Los Angeles Lakers and LeBron James on Tuesday morning (05:00 Israel time).
