No forces.

It is very doubtful whether any of Hapoel Ashkelon's fans believed that their modest team, in the first division, could surprise Hapoel Tel Aviv.

True, there have been things in the Cup before, but there are games where the gaps between the leagues are just huge and so it was in Bloomfield.

Hapoel Tel Aviv took the lead from a goal by the great Ben Bitton only towards the end of the first half, but it happened after massive pressure from Nir Klinger's team, and for a moment there was no doubt that the Reds would score.

In the second half, the Reds increased the pace a bit and Biton cooked for Shlomi Azulai, a few minutes later substitute Lidor Cohen scored, a legal goal by Gil Yitzhak was disqualified, when Ofek Bitton who came in as a substitute with a close shot. If Hapoel really wanted to they would have scored a few more goals easily. In the bottom line, Klinger's team rightly qualified for the quarterfinals.
