Risk of injury! Just don't break your knee

Still no training?

That annoys all football clubs in the Erding district.

But so far, apart from the women from Lengdorf and Hörgersdorf, no one has started playing football.

And that's just as well.

A week after the lockdown easing, we wanted to know from our football clubs: Has anyone already been on the lawn (or on the dog meadow, as Türkgücü Erding likes to call his football pitch)?

Yes.

At least the soccer players from SG Lengdorf / Hörgersdorf trained twice.

“Of course, contactless and in groups of ten,” reported coach Markus Schorer.

"It was really nice to see the girls at the ball again," he enthuses and adds: "Since they trained well at home in lockdown, their stamina is also okay."

The fact that their boys and girls are also so hardworking is the glimmer of hope for all the other clubs in the district, all of which - at least we don't know of any other example - have not yet returned to the field.

TSV Grüntegernbach actually planned it, but then, as is well known, the incidence value rose to over 50. The training would still have been legal, because the stricter rules have only been in effect since today (non-contact outdoor sports only for U14 footballers).

But what kind of perspective would that be, asks sporting director Wolfgang Schnappberger, “if we train twice now, and then it's over”.

So the balls stayed in the cupboard and the individual run training was activated via the B42 app.

The same thing happened to the aforementioned FC Türkgücü Erding.

Player-coach Benji Tas had to answer umpteen inquiries from his impatient players.

Tas: "They pretend I'm the Söder, but I can only wait and see."

The league cup is practically the Turks' last chance to prevent relegation to the A-class.

And indeed: this competition is not dead yet. If the clubs were ready to play English Weeks, says district game director Ludwig Schmidt (report above), this competition could also be carried out.

Dear clubs, this is only one of the services offered by the association.

Please don't do that!

Only three weeks of preparation, then a game every three days - only those who are lazy about training think that's cool.

But even they know: Then we'll soon have the next break.

Not because of Corona, but because of various tears in the ligament.
