Seven games took place tonight (Tuesday-Wednesday) in the best league in the world with Damian Lillard at the center providing another 50-point performance and LeBron James Shayt with his Lakers for another win.
Portland - New Orleans 124: 125
What remains to be said of Damien Lillard, who with his own hands brought the Blazers back from a 17-point hole in a night of 50 points and 10 assists.
The host star also made sure of the penalties, less than a second and a half to go on the road to a 23-season victory.
CJ McCollum returned to the floor and responded with 10 points.
On the other hand, Brandon Ingram's 30 points and Zion Williamson's 28 were not enough for the visitors who were stopped after two wins in a row.
Lakers - Minnesota 121: 137
The champion struggled in the first half, but in the third quarter LeBron James passed a move and arranged a third straight win.
King James, who finished with 25 points, 12 rebounds and 12 assists, scored a triple-double 99 in his career as Dennis Schroeder, Kyle Kozma and Tyler Horton Tucker scored 48 points together (16 each). On the other side, Anthony Edwards and Carl-Anthony Towns each scored 29 points for the loser, who once again came off the floor without a smile.
Boston - Utah 117: 109
After the loss to Golden State, the Jazz improved the good balance in the league which they raised to 10:29.
The visitors opened the fourth quarter with a 2:13 run and regained the advantage and from there the Celtics had a hard time regaining the lead.
Donovan Mitchell excelled with 21 points, Jordan Clarkson added 20 for the winner, Rudy Gover was also effective with 16 of his own.
On the other hand, 29 by Jason Taitum and 28 by Jaylen Brown have not prevented another loss for the Greens since the break.
