Hallbergmoos coach becomes clear: "Simply surrender, that is not possible"

Two clear defeats and nine goals conceded - that was really not the start in the Bayernliga that Hallbergmoos imagined.

Two clear defeats and nine goals conceded - that was really not the start in the Bayernliga that Hallbergmoos imagined.

Hallbergmoos -

Before the home game against TSV Dachau 65 (Wednesday, 7.30 p.m., stadium at the airport), the Hallbergmoosers have a tough time - not only because of the results, but also because of their partial self-abandonment.

Coach Gedi Sugzda speaks clear words.

Last weekend the Hallbergmoosers were free of play - and also got no training.

But it was meant to be a time to reflect rather than a reward.

“After the 1: 3 in Wasserburg we fell apart,” says coach Sugzda, “we surrendered and that's the worst for me as a coach.

Just surrendering is not an option. ”The coach observed that some of his players were only concerned with themselves and no longer helped the people next to them.

For Sugzda it is clear: Now everyone from the coach to the last substitute would have to work on themselves.

In Dachau, too, the mood is rather subdued at the moment

With the Dachauers, an opponent with a similar mood is now coming to the Moos community. The seasoned Bayern league team surprised at the start with a 0-0 win against championship favorites Donaustauf, but then lost like Hallbergmoos against Türkspor Augsburg (0: 5) and Wasserburg (0: 1). The Dachauers have already scored a point, the Hallbergers at least scored one goal. Anyone who now loses the first small cellar duel of the still young season probably needs further discussion internally.

Sugzda suspects that the Dachau defeats are not an advantage for VfB.

The opponent wants to straighten things out because the performances have been better than the results recently.

"In Dachau Wasserburg spent the entire second half in its own half," observed Sugzda.

But now he looks at his team - with a clear statement: "I want to see order from the first to the 90th minute."

The comeback of Kaan Aygün and the question marks

He expects mentality and character from his team - and when the opponent was better then one could congratulate. In order to finally arrive in the Bayernliga on the third attempt, top performers are particularly important. That's why it hurts that Andreas Giglberger is slowed down by his injury and does not appear in the squad. Kaan Aygün is about to make a comeback. The offensive player at least has the strength for 30 to 45 minutes and should therefore come off the bench. But on the other hand, Gediz Sugzda is always good for surprises and could set an example with his playmaker right from the start - for more creativity and punch.

Player-coach Fabian Lamotte is the star against opponents in Dachau.

He once played for Schalke in the first, for 1860 in the second Bundesliga and for Sturm Graz in the Austrian elite class.

But Gedi Sugzda can hold up against IFK Gothenburg quite well with his commitment in the former UEFA Cup for Lok Moscow.

Line-up: Dinkel - M. Schrödl (Opitz), Kostorz (Hammerl), Beierkuhnlein - Edlböck, Beetz, Bachmann (Krause), Gasteiger, Mömkes - Bauer (Aygün), Diranko.
