Tonight (Thursday), Maccabi Tel Aviv hosts the Euroleague champion Anadolu Efes in the 16th round of the factory.
Yannis Sapropoulos' team comes with a five-loss streak and a negative seven-win balance, just like the Turkish rival, but Argin Atman's team has added six wins in the last eight rounds.
The host has lost five of its last six games against Anadolu Zero.
The only victory over the Turks in the Yannis Sapropoulos era was the one that promoted Maccabi to the playoffs that did not take place in the 2019/20 season, and from that game Maccabi has three players left - Scotty Wilbkin, Angelo Cloiaro and Jaylen Reynolds.
Elijah Bryant, who played for Maccabi at the time, moved to Anadolu, who today has ten players in the media who played in the same game.
