A day after the historic gold medal at the World Short Course Championships (25 meters), Anastasia Gurbanko continues this morning (Saturday) in her great ability in the last year, having advanced to the semifinals 100 meters west.
The 18-year-old Gurbanko finished her first qualifying time in a time of 58.36 seconds and secured her place in the afternoon semi-final from first place.

The one who gets better over the years is Yaakov Tomarkin (29) who reached the semifinals in the 100-meter medley mixed from seventh place with 52.62 seconds.
Michael Leitrovsky finished in the 50-meter backstroke in 25th place with 24.32 seconds.
Meanwhile, seven positive cases for Corona were discovered in the competition, the World Swimming Federation (FINA) confirmed, with the news coming after the Singapore Swimming Association revealed that four of its 14 swimmers were found positive for Corona.
