With the fifth away win, SV Darmstadt 98 consolidated the second place in the table in the 2nd Bundesliga and even increased its lead over the competition.
Düsseldorf - The Hessians won 2-0 (0-0) with goals from Emir Karic and Tobias Kempe and with 35 points are one point behind leaders FC St. Pauli and five ahead of third place.
SV Werder Bremen advanced to seventh place with their 4: 1 (1: 1) success in the north duel at Hannover 96.
Romano Schmid, Marvin Ducksch, Anthony Jung and Marco Friedl scored the goals for the guests who had 29 points on their account at the end of the year.
Pascal Breier saved Hansa Rostock an important point in the relegation battle with his two goals at 2-2 at Karlsruher SC.
