The "Miners" of TSV Peißenberg lost their home game against ESV Buchloe.

But in view of the incidents in the final third, that was almost a minor matter.

Peißenberg - For two thirds it was a normal game. In the last section, the home game of the Peißenberg "Miners" against ESV Buchloe in the Bayern League got completely out of hand - not least because the match was completely out of hand for the referees. The unpleasant climax was a fist fight in which Martin Lidl knocked out his Buchloer opponent. The ESV player then had to carry the stretcher from the ice with his face smeared with blood, the "Miners" defender received a match penalty. The 3: 5 defeat of the Peißenberger almost degenerated into a marginal note.

“The game got hectic, but not because of the teams.

The referees brought that in, ”said“ Miners ”coach Christian Kratzmeir, who, in view of the sometimes hair-raising decisions made by the referees, together with his co-coaches on the bench, completely lost his composure.

“But the referees weren't responsible for the defeat.

Buchloe was just smarter and we weren't good enough, ”said Kratzmeir.

The surprising change from Dominic Krabbat to EC Peiting (we reported) no longer played a role.

"The team has processed that, the subject is closed for us," said Kratzmeir.

After the 1-0 "stopped playing ice hockey"

After a good start, the Peißenberg team took the lead 1-0 through Sinan Ondörtoglu (11th). “After the goal, we stopped playing ice hockey,” said the “Miners” coach angrily. Buchloe took control of the game more and more. Peter Brückner (18th) scored to make it 1: 1, ESV top scorer Alexander Krafczyk (20th) made it 2: 1 in the majority. The Peißenberger made the middle third more balanced again. Niko Fissekis (23rd) exploited a pass from Martin Andrä in the minority to make it 2-2. Shortly afterwards, when Buchloe was still in the majority, Krafczyk (24th) took the lead again. Ondörtoglu (34th), Max Willberger (35th) and Tomas Rousek (37th) then failed in their great chances due to ESV keeper Johannes Wiedemann or their own nerves.

At the beginning of the final third, Markus Andrä got a bat in the face. Despite a bleeding lip, Buchloer only received a two-plus-two penalty. After that, the game became more and more confused. Ondörtoglu (47th) shot over the empty box. Shortly afterwards, the heavily complaining Peißenberger received a bank fine. Then the events escalated: The referee whistled off a goal of the guests because he believed the puck with TSV goalie Korbinian Sertl. In the course of this action, Lidl tinkered with Simon Beslic. While the Buchloer did not hit the Peißenberg defender, Lidl's gloved fist landed in the opponent's face, knocking him out. Beslic was brought off the ice after prolonged treatment. "He was then available again and now has to spend the night in the hospital",explained ESC coach Christopher Lechner. Lidl, who was prevented by the referees from apologizing to the injured after the action, had to shower with a match penalty.

The subsequent double majority took advantage of guest player Brückner (53rd) to 4: 2. Due to a big mistake by the “Pirates”, Martin Andrä (56th) made it 3: 4. 75 seconds before the siren, the "Miners" took the goalkeeper off the ice for a field player. To the surprise of the Peißenberger, however, the referee team moved the bully previously displayed in the Buchloer third into the neutral zone. The disc was lost, Petrak (60th) made everything clear for ESV Buchloe with his empty net goal to make it 5: 3.

Statistics:

1st third: 1: 0 (10:30) Ondörtoglu (Rousek, Malzatzki), 1: 1 (17:43) Brückner (Wittmann), 1: 2 (19:22) Krafzcyk (Vaitl, Wittmann).

2nd third: 2: 2 (22:14) Fissekis (Martin Andrä / 4-5), 2: 3 (23:09) Krafczyk (Vaitl, Petrak).
