The Asian Football Confederation has officially confirmed the clubs that have obtained the necessary licenses to participate in the 2022 AFC Champions League and AFC Cup, in preparation for the draw for the group stage of the two competitions on January 17th.

And the AFC indicated that 6 clubs from the West Asian region will compete for three qualifying cards for the group stage, including Al-Jaish Club, which will face Al-Taawon Saudi Arabia on the fifteenth of next March in one match in order to determine the qualifier between them for the group stage.

Because of the lack of licensing for Jordanian clubs, Tishreen and Jableh clubs will participate directly in the group stage of the AFC Cup, knowing that Tishreen (the league champion) will be at the head of one of the three groups for the West Asia region, while the remaining two groups will be headed by the Lebanese Al-Ansar and the Bahraini Riffa.

As for the second level, it includes the Omani Al-Seeb clubs, the Palestinian youth of Hebron and the Lebanese star, while Jableh (the Republic Cup champion) will enter the third level, along with the Bahraini East Riffa and Oman’s Dhofar, and the Palestinian and Arab Kuwaiti Crescent will be in the fourth level, noting that the Kuwaiti Kuwait will enter The draw is conditionally ranked fourth, pending the decision of the Asian Competitions Committee.
