Carlos Garcia was appointed coach of Betar Tel Aviv Bat Yam today (Friday). The team, which finished 3: 3 against Hapoel Kfar Saba after already leading 0: 3, announced that the former Spanish stopper will enter the position immediately. In Israel and will serve as head coach when former defender Kalmi Saban will be his assistant.
It should be noted that Betar Tel Aviv Bat Yam is of course connected to Maccabi Tel Aviv and this move was made in coordination with the Yellows.
In the future, Garcia may work for Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Garcia, 37, who played as a stopper for Maccabi Tel Aviv between 2016-2012 and won three championships in a row and one cup, later moved to the Turkish AlniSpor, where he also retired.
In 2017/18 he worked for Maccabi Tel Aviv as assistant coach to Jordi Cruyff and then continued with the Dutchman to China and was his assistant at Chongqing Lipan, where he only recently finished his role.
