Nigeria qualified for the round of 16 of the African Nations Cup, after defeating its Sudanese counterpart 3-1 in the second round of Group D.
The goals of the Nigerian team were scored by Samuel Shukwezi in the third minute and players Taiwo Onye and Moses Simon in the 45th and 46th minutes, while the only goal of Sudan was scored by Wali El Din Khader from a penalty kick in the 70th minute of the match.
Nigeria leads its group with six points, while Sudan's balance stopped at one point.
