The national taekwondo team achieved seven different medals in the Arab Cup tournament currently being held in the UAE, with the participation of 17 Arab countries, represented by 950 male and female players.
In the women’s category, Nibal Al-Dawalib won a bronze medal, and the same for Muhammad Al-Baali in the junior category.
In the women's category, Mais Al-Alaf won a silver medal, Aya Mubarak and Rose Al-Ibrahim two bronze, while in the women's category, Elissar Elias and Aya Al-Jarrahi took bronze.
It is noteworthy that the players, Ahmed Sayyad, Anas Sukkar, Jana Sidawi, Waad Awad and Shams Ahmed, performed well and were eliminated from the quarter-finals qualifying for a medal.
It is worth noting that the team's delegation will later participate in the Fujairah International Championship, along with 59 countries represented by 1,600 male and female players from different continents.
