Cohen, who was one of the most prominent attacking players in the Israeli Premier League, is a partner in 15 of Pisa's 21 league games and is still waiting for a 90-minute performance.
He opened 8 times, came in as a substitute 7 times, played 660 minutes and still failed to become an important screw.
If coming to Europe usually helped quite a few players to get more minutes of play for the Israeli team in the era of Andy Herzog and Willy Rotensteier, this is not the case with Yonatan Cohen.
Since joining Pisa he has usually been left out of the squad and the only time he has been booked, remains on the bench.

The end of Podgorano
The story of the end of Podgorano is different from that of Yonatan Cohen and Dor Peretz, because he is younger and did not come to Specia as a star in a distant league, but after 48 minutes in the senior team (Maccabi Haifa) and another whole season in the youth of Rome.
Podgorano was part of the squad for the first 14 rounds of the season, playing 110 minutes spread over five appearances and even opening in one game and cooking in another.
But the level differences between him and the rival players are huge at the moment, as are the level differences between him and a large part of his teammates who compete with him for minutes.
In the last two months Podgorano has been completely wiped out by coach Thiago Motta and during this time he has been included in the squad only once.
At his age he owes minutes of play, but for some reason he remained in the spice even during the month of January, when it was already clear he was not counted by the coach.
Podgorano is already 20 years old and meanwhile his career includes 158 minutes in senior teams.
Even 90 minutes in the Israeli team against the Faroe Islands does not make the picture look good.

So how did Eran Zehavi get here?
It is customary to talk about the Italian term of the Israeli pioneer (then the connection) in terms of failure, but when comparing it to that of our three representatives in the boot country, questions arise regarding the definitions.
Although Zehavi deteriorated greatly in his second half of the season at Palermo, the one in which he moved to Maccabi Tel Aviv, in the first season in Sicily he set numbers and averages that could make Peretz, Cohen and Podgorano jealous.
In the first 24 rounds of Serie A - where the league is now - Zahavi had 14 appearances and 829 minutes.
And also 2 gates and 3 cooks.
He missed no less than seven games due to injury during that time and if he had stayed healthy, he would surely have improved the indices.
Compared to our representatives today it is a dizzying success story.
