The football world was shocked yesterday (Tuesday) after a video revealed how the brakeman of the French national team and West Ham, Kurt Zuma, was abusing a helpless cat.
A few hours later, his hammer coach - David Moyes - allowed him to start in the league in the league game against Watford (0: 1), which angered quite a few people in the kingdom.
Zuma, who apologized for his behavior, was scorned by some of the crowd and after the game Moyes was asked if his decision was the right one.
"I'm really disappointed with what Kurt did and the club has taken all the action he can at the moment. We're working on it behind the scenes," he told reporters.
"My job is to try to pick a team that will give me the best chance of winning and Kurt was part of that team."
Moyes added: "I was really disappointed with what I saw and what I was told, but overall my job tonight was to get a win for West Ham, of course there are people who are disappointed with that and I totally understand that."

TV presenter Chris Puckham questioned Moyes' decision and wrote in a Twitter tweet: "Tonight some people have decided that it is more important to allow a person who kicks defenseless fragile animals the opportunity to kick the ball for entertainment."

West Ham's sponsors, Experience Kissimmee, have announced that they will re-examine the continuation of the contract with the club after the said Zuma started in the squad.
"It was discouraging to find out that Zuma was part of the starting line-up tonight," tweeted Kissimi, one of the club's chief executives, tweeted.
