The men's giant slalom was on Sunday morning.
Gold goes to the favorite Marco Odermatt - but nobody expected silver for Zan Kranjec.

Update from February 9th, 9.03am: What was that finish?! Stefan Brennsteiner from Austria was on course for silver after the first round, but made a big mistake and ended up only 24th. Gold goes to the favorite Marco Odermatt (Switzerland), who in a crazy final sprint knocks the big surprise of this race from first place. For Zan Kranjec there is "only" silver - but he will be very happy about that. The Slovenian, who started as a blatant outsider, dedicated the medal to his father who died in an accident. Mathieu Favre of France wins bronze.
