Danny Abdia also continued tonight (Wednesday-Thursday) in the progress graph but his Washington suffered another loss, 113: 108 away against Indiana.
The Israeli recorded his fourth straight game in double figures (14 points) and added 7 rebounds in 32 minutes, but the Wizards dived to a 31:26 balance and are now 1.5 games away from tenth place in the East and the play-in picture.
Despite the improvement in the points column, Abdia finished with 45.5 percent from the field (5 of 11 and 2 of 5 for three), but also with a number of puzzling errors under the basket.
The one who shed light on the statistics of the Israeli forward in the game was Chase Hughes from NBC, who wrote: "Danny Abdia showed up to face 65.4% success with shots close to the basket, the lowest in his team.
"He had a good game, but there is a problem. During one of the last training sessions Kyle Kozma told him he needed to get on the basket with more strength and power and laughed with him that maybe that's why he often misses in situations like this."
We fought until the end, but the victory remained in Indiana
113 - 108 for the Pacers.

At the end of the game, Kyle Kozma was asked about the inaccuracy of friend Abdia: "I also missed a lot of layups. I think Danny played really well, but we all have mistakes in the game. I mean talk about myself because overall we all made a mistake and lost the game."

Coach Wes Ansald Jr. added on the same subject: "I saw Danny miss some shots in color, but overall our shooting ability near the basket as a team is not improved. We need to work on that and finish the shooting with a smooth touch. It's not just the shots near the ring, but "Passing shots, or shots after an offensive rebound. There is nothing to do, we have to score a large part of them. At the same time, we have to get the ball out more. Always find the free player."
