Biathlon ladies experience German cross-country madness: moments of goosebumps live on TV

Germany secured two Olympic medals on Wednesday morning.

The biathlon women experienced the cross-country skiing gold live on TV - the result was unbelievable moments.

Beijing - There are quite successful Winter Olympics for Germany.

Of course, our ice track goddesses and gods have a big part in this: "Team D" is almost unbeatable on the sleds, twelve medals have jumped out so far (as of February 16th).

Germany has won a total of 20 precious metals - an amazing rate.

Wednesday proved that Germany is also to be reckoned with on the cross-country ski run: First, the German women's relay team won bronze in the biathlon.

Vanessa Voigt, Vanessa Hinz, Franziska Preuss and Denise Herrmann celebrated third place - and were there live when their cross-country skiing colleagues wrote Olympic history!

What happened?

The German bronze quartet was interviewed live on ARD, anchor Herrmann was just talking about her race.

But then she suddenly had to change the subject, her eyes wandered to a TV screen, where the finish line in the team sprint of the cross-country skiers was being shown live.

“And now there is cross-country skiing in the team sprint at the same time and of course we are really excited right now.

We have to swing over there for a moment, because it's amazing what they're doing again today!"

In the background one could already hear the cheering of Hinz, Voigt and Preuss.

Herrmann agreed and witnessed Victoria Carl's last few meters on the cross-country ski trail.

The Bronze Girls commented live: "Come on girl", "Run, run, run", "Come on now", "Aaaaaaaarh", "Oh my god", "Come on, come on, come on" and then finally: "JAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Pure emotions, honest joy, goose bumps moments - unbelievable pictures that were shown on ARD!

"They're crazy.

Insanity!

It's amazing what's going on here,” Herrmann cheered afterwards.

In the medal table, there was a double increase for Germany within a few minutes - first biathlon bronze, then cross-country gold.

However, it was not enough to displace Norway from first place.

Second place can hardly be taken from the DSV.

And finally, there are still one or the other decision in the ice channel, which Black-Red-Gold has been able to rely on so well so far.

So it's quite possible that our biathlon ladies will soon experience the next German medal live - hopefully as emotionally as before.
