The final of the State Cup for the 2021/22 season was held tonight (Thursday) when Bnei Herzliya and Hapoel Tel Aviv are fighting for the second title this season.
The team from Sharon is looking for a second win in its history in the cup, after winning in 1995, while the Reds dream of winning their fifth title ever and first since 1993. For Danny Franco's team, this is their first appearance in the cup final since 1994, Then it was part of the united group of Bnei Hasharon.
The two teams have met only once in the history of the State Cup, in the eighth finals of the 2017/18 season with Hapoel winning 60:74 in Herzliya.
Bnei Herzliya arrives at the game with one more day of rest, and after already beating the Reds in a game played between them in the league.
Hapoel are hoping for further rise on the part of Jacoben Brown, while Oren Aharoni's team is building on the dominance of Chinano Onoako.
