Regional football club VfR Aalen has separated from coach Uwe Wolf with immediate effect.
"Those responsible felt compelled to take this step due to numerous internal and external incidents," said the tenth in the Southwest season.
The 54-year-old former Bundesliga player from 1. FC Nürnberg and TSV 1860 Munich was therefore released.
According to the club, the incidents include "threats to club employees", "repeated disregard of clear instructions from management and committees", "vulgarity (and lies) towards sponsors", "deliberate media misleading" and "false statements harmful to the club".
When asked by the "Stuttgarter Nachrichten" about the allegations, Wolf said in a first reaction: "I have to take a deep breath first.
They've never had a coach as good as me.«
The sports court of the Regionalliga Südwest in Karlsruhe had recently suspended the former Bundesliga professional Wolf for two games and imposed a fine on him.
According to a spokesman for the league, this judgment is based on the fact that Wolf did not comply with a three-game indoor ban during the game at FC 08 Homburg on October 9th.
This had been pronounced after a game eleven days earlier at VfB Stuttgart II.
In addition, there are currently other proceedings against Wolf, who had only been training VfR for almost eleven months.
Until the end of the season, the previous assistant coach Christian Demirtas is to look after the Aalen team as interim coach.
