French club Paris Saint-Germain made a huge offer for its star Kylian Mbappe that would make him the highest-paid in the history of football.
According to the British newspaper, The Independent, the Paris Saint-Germain administration offered Mbappe to stay with the French club and renew his contract in exchange for a significant increase in his salary of approximately 600,000 euros, to receive a weekly wage of up to 1.2 million euros, noting that the player is studying the offer made to him.
Mbappe's contract with Saint-Germain expires next summer, and he has so far rejected all offers of renewal with the Paris team.
Many reports claim that the 23-year-old decided his position by moving to Real Madrid next summer through a free deal, after the royal team failed to sign him during the last summer Mercato due to the intransigence of the Parisian team’s management.
