"My name is Roi Blue, 17, from Herzliya, studying at the Jubilee High School in the twelfth grade. Yesterday I was at a Hapoel Tel Aviv football game at Sami Ofer in Haifa," Roi wrote. The fans out.I was already outside the stadium on the phone and behind me came a wave of cops and fans and the only thing I heard was the cops shouting and cursing behind me.
"Before I realized what had happened someone pushed me and I turned around in a panic. The cops started pushing the fans and one specific cop whose name I will not reveal now, laid me on the floor, put his knee on my neck and seven more cops just came and started kicking me in the face and ribs. Spit on me and strangle me without me doing anything.

In response to the incidents, the Israel Police stated: "During a football game held last night at the Sami Ofer Stadium, dozens of fans began to dislodge chairs and throw them at the field and the seat of the rival team's fans.

"Meanwhile, police were forced to make arrests of the suspects in the act while additional fans continued to act as vandalists while harming rival team fans, staff and police officers who were at the scene.
"We take violence and bullying of all kinds on and near sports fields very seriously, and in particular violence against police forces. We will continue to take action against anyone who improves public order and law and tries to harm police officers, sporting events and anywhere else."
