SE Freising won 4-0 in Kastl - and TSV was even well served with this pack.

SEF coach Plabst really got into raptures.

Freising

– What a start to the 2022 league year!

The state league footballers of SE Freising would have been satisfied with a point in the catch-up game at TSV Kastl, in the end Lerchenfelder won more than deservedly 4-0 (2-0) on Saturday.

Those responsible for the SEF had tried everything.

TSV Kastl, who are in acute danger of relegation, wanted to play the catch-up game, which had been canceled in autumn due to heavy fog, at this early point in time.

The answer of the Lerchenfelder?

The hosts from the Inn Valley must not have liked it at all.

"That was a dominant victory that could have been even better," reports SEF trainer Alex Plabst.

Own goal initiates the Freising victory

The guests from the cathedral city got off to a cheeky start.

After just ten minutes, substitute captain Domagoj Tiric - Jonas Mayr was ill and was only sitting on the bench - had the lead on the slippery slope.

A little later, however, the ball was in it: After a quick advance down the right side, the cross landed at Luka Brudtloff, who shot Kastl's Patrick Quast - own goal (20th).

And the SEF quickly followed suit, with Benedict Geuenich proving to be a crook in this scene: the offensive man cleverly ran off a catastrophic back pass from Alois Straßer and gave Fabian Taube no chance in the TSV case (25th).

(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

After half-time, little changed in the distribution of roles - and after 58 minutes at the latest, the fair was read: Nikolai Davydov, after winning the ball in his own penalty area, countered from the outside, and Domagoj Tiric refined the subsequent cross to make it 3-0.

After that, almost everything went like clockwork for Eintracht, who were still struggling with a number of problems in preparation.

"If there's anything to criticize, it's that we didn't take our chances," said Plabst.

Goalkeeper Maximilian Oswald can also excel

But even four goals were enough for the big exclamation mark in the fight for direct relegation.

The end of the away win, which was never in danger, was returned Robert Rohrhirsch, who confidently completed one of the many Freising attacks (78th).

The chancellor only got a consolation goal in the final minute, but goalkeeper Maximilian Oswald was able to defuse the powerful shot (89').

"I'm excited about my team," enthused coach Plabst.

You were better than your opponent in almost every area.

And that, although there was still a lot of room for improvement at SEF in terms of personnel: Among other things, the coach had to rebuild the central defense - Sebastian Thalhammer and Florian Schmuckermeier were also absent for a short time.

Kastl, that much is certain, reckoned without this motivated Freisinger team on Saturday.
