After their serious victory on the field of Montpellier (3-1) this Saturday, the Parisiennes qualify for the semi-finals of the Cup

Any other result than a success would have been considered a failure, but the Parisians did the job this Saturday to validate their ticket for the semi-finals of the Coupe de France.

Brilliant in the previous round against OL (3-0), Didier Olé-Nicolle's players took the best this time over Montpellier (3-1).

Still just as convincing, they are the favorites in this competition that the club has already won in 2010 and 2018. A status that they intend to hold until the end.

What you must remember

The Parisian coach had called on his troops to be very careful before this meeting.

We have to believe that the message has been heard.

Opposed to Montpellier, fifth in the French championship, the Parisians have done what is necessary to avoid a trap match.

From the start, they confiscated the ball, and could have scored through Kadidiatou Diani who, unbalanced, came up against Montpellier goalkeeper Gabrielle Lambert (8th).

It was finally Kheira Hamraoui who opened the scoring with a missile from 25 meters (0-1, 35th).

Freed by this first goal, Paris did not loosen the vice and made it easy by making the break, on returning from the locker room, through captain Grace Geyoro who took advantage of an excellent job by Marie-Antoinette Katoto to deceive the opposing door (0-2, 52nd).

Just before, Sara Däbritz had not gone far from scoring her goal, but her shot had grazed the top corner (50th).

The German turned into a decisive passer for Katoto, author of the third Parisian achievement, with a header (0-3, 63rd).

His second goal in the competition this season.

The locals will reduce the mark by Maëlle Lakrar (1-3, 72nd).

Mission accomplished, however, for PSG which, while waiting for the semi-finals scheduled for the end of the month (March 26-27), will refocus on the championship in the coming days.

This will go through a reunion with Montpellier next Friday, as part of the 16th day of D1.

Here again victory will be imperative for Paris in order to maintain the pressure on the Lyon leader in the race for the title.

The player: Kheira Hamraoui

Since her return to the team, the former Barcelona player has regained her starting stripes by performing well in the Parisian midfield.

She confirmed it again this Saturday, in Montpellier, by performing well.

His long strike from the right, under the bar, for the opener is to be seen in all football schools.

Decisive passer on the goal, Sakina Karchaoui came to jump into her arms immediately to congratulate her, followed by her teammates, all smiles, despite the affair which has greatly agitated the locker room in recent weeks.

A breath of air.

The number: 135

We could update this figure almost every week as it changes from one game to another.

135: this is the number of goals with PSG totaled by Marie-Antoinette Katoto, the top scorer in the history of the women's section of the capital club.

She increased this total by one unit this Saturday, by scoring the third and last Parisian goal.
