The weekend full of achievements in Israeli sports continues, with the Israeli swimming team winning medals tonight (Saturday) at the Golden Tour competition in Marseille. 

Whoever was above them all this time was David Gerchik who won the silver medal in the 200 backstroke with 2: 00.18 minutes.

This is the first international medal in the alumni career for the swimmer from Maccabi Haifa who celebrated last month 21, who thanks to a great finish surpassed big names like German world runner-up Christian Diner, European Championship medalist Roman Mityokov of Switzerland and more. 

The gold medalist was British Greenbank Luke, a bronze medalist in this ointment from the Tokyo Olympics, who set a time of 1: 57.81 minutes.

Anastasia Gorbanko won her second blue-and-white medal tonight and her third in the competition, who this time climbed the podium in the 200-meter breaststroke.

The 18-year-old swimmer from Maccabi Kiryat Bialik set a time of 2: 30.28 minutes and finished third behind the Hungarian Christina Horska (2: 27.42 d) and the Swiss Lisa Granny (2: 27.53 d).

Tonight, Miron Heruti finished in 15th place (seventh in the second final) in 50 butterfly with 24.84 seconds.
