All Euroleague teams are waiting for the results of the vote on the method that will be used in the event that the Russian teams are removed until the end of the season.
The 15 permanent groups were asked to express their opinions and decide between one of the following options: delete the results of the Russians or the percentage method.
Israeli champion Maccabi Tel Aviv in favor of erasing the results of the Russians completely, because in such a case its chances of qualifying for the playoffs improve significantly.
In the percentage method, the proposal is to continue the season as usual without the Russians, and the position of the 15 teams in the table will be determined by the success rates.
According to this method, Maccabi Tel Aviv is currently ninth with a balance of 13:12 (48 percent success). Meaning: The Yellows are out of the playoffs, but with the same success rates as Fener (7th place) and Bayern Munich (8).
The final results of the draw are expected to be announced by the Euroleague tonight or tomorrow.
