Disappointing event in Israeli basketball: Raviv Lemond (37) tore up Guy Achilles and may retire from basketball, "Israel Today" first learned.
Lemond had a very respectable career during which he played in the Spanish league and the French league and also played for Hapoel Jerusalem, Maccabi Tel Aviv and Hapoel Tel Aviv.
In his closet of titles are the ULB Cup, the European Cup (the only Israeli player to win two different European titles) and the Israeli Championship. He is also ranked 22nd in all-time scoring in the Premier League with 4,505 points.
Also in the national uniform the guard recorded some handsome landmarks.
Already in the reserve team he was one of the main factors for a silver medal at the 2004 European Championships, and then participated in several European Championships with the senior team.
Last summer, he signed with Raanana from the national league and at the beginning of February he moved to a team from Ramat Gan that is aimed at the aliyah struggles.
Unfortunately in one of the last training sessions the player was injured and not at all sure he will play again.
