Farsa appeal: After announcing that he is leaving his position as the professional manager at Bnei Herzliya, Zofar Abdia has returned to him and will remain at the club.
This was decided at a meeting held today (Monday).
Abdia said after the meeting: "If anyone is hurt by my words, I'm sorry. Bnei Herzliya is a club that is run wonderfully and I had no intention of hurting anyone. "I really enjoyed it, I made it clear to the team management in my meeting with them today and I have no intention of leaving. I thank the management for understanding and accepting this and look forward to the rest of the season in the hope that we can add more good moments."
Group chairman Eldad Akunis: “Even in the best families sometimes there are moments when people say things they don’t really mean.
"Zofi is a good man, a friend, part of the success this year and we are happy that we can put the matter behind us and concentrate on basketball."
