Brazil on the agenda again?
Following the reports that the negotiations between Eran Zehavi and the Brazilian Botafogo did not bear fruit, in Brazil this morning (Tuesday) there are reports of a change in the plot and a resumption of talks between the two sides.
According to the report, Zehavi's camp set a monthly salary of 1.9 million rials (350,000 euros), sums that initially deterred the Brazilian team leaders, but after a second thought it was decided not to give up the possibility of signing the Israeli striker of PSV Eindhoven and now and the negotiations between the parties continue.
As you may recall, Zehavi is ending his contract at PSV this summer and according to all estimates, he is not expected for a third season in the Netherlands.
As you may recall, in the last two months there has been speculation about a possible return to Maccabi Tel Aviv and at the same time beyond the MLS league in the United States.
Botafogo, which was founded 117 years ago, will play starting this April in the Brazilian top league after qualifying from Serie B, where it finished last season in first place.
The club has twice won local championships in 1968 and 1995.
