Attacking football in the relegation battle: VfB had an early urge, but the guests scored the first goal.

André Hahn (7th minute) scored from close range to take the lead.

Shortly before the break, Stuttgart equalized with a header from Waldemar Anton (44') - but couldn't save the result at half-time.

Because Michael Gregoritsch scored in direct return from a central position for Augsburg (45 + 1).

But in the second half, VfB turned up the heat – and then the game: Omar Mamoush (79th) with a fantastic free-kick goal and Tiago Tomas (85th) made Stuttgart celebrate.

Augsburg's Niklas Dorsch saved a shot from Chris Führich on the line, but VfB won even without this goal.

Lightning start from Burkardt: It took Mainz 27 seconds to lead.

Jonathan Burkardt was the goalscorer.

A few minutes later, the hosts celebrated again, Moussa Niakhaté is said to have scored - but the ball was not over the line.

After a few minutes, the referee saw it that way (you can read more about the situation here).

In the second half there were three penalty goals for Mainz: First Niakhaté raised (63'), shortly afterwards it was Burkardt's turn and scored his second goal (75').

And Marcus Ingvartsen (79th) took the third penalty – and was also successful.

Magath premiere without Magath: In the first game after taking over coach Felix Magath, who was absent due to a corona infection, there was a win for Hertha.

The video referee also made an appearance in this game.

It took a few minutes before Niklas Stark, who initially didn't count due to an alleged offside position, scored (39').

Ishak Belfodil increased after the break (63rd) for Berlin, Hoffenheim's David Raum made the decision with an own goal.

The bottom of the table Fürth showed an appealing performance against the Champions League aspirants Freiburg in the first half and even had two chances on the statistics sheet.

The SC had another big chance through Roland Sallai in the second half, but couldn't take it.
