This is Hapoel Holon's fifth season in the Basketball Champions League.

This time the early stage is of 4 groups in each house, and the first two qualify for the next stage.
The story is Holon's big comeback, which started the season with a 2: 1 balance and was seen on the way to relegation.

The first was a win over the best team at home to AEK Athens, and the closing game was against French side Shula.

Hapoel Holon - Besiktas 68:74 (season 21/22).
This season a 4-team home stage in the early stages, but this time only the first one comes up automatically.
Places 2 and 3 went to the play-in series for promotion to the next stage.
Holon lost the home advantage over Besiktas at the last second, but nothing happened.
She won away, brought the Turks to a third game in the country, and after a big battle won thanks to a wonderful performance by Adam Smith (20 points) on the way to the Big 16.
