Türkgücü Munich has to face the toughest of all courses: the insolvency association reports.

Nobody wants to speak.

Except for coach Andreas Heraf.

Munich - It was a short works meeting on Heinrich-Wieland-Strasse.

Before noon it was clear: Türkgücü Munich cannot continue.

The club stops playing in the 3rd division.

A very bitter end, especially for the players, some of whom would even have given up their salary to finish the season.

Nobody wanted to speak after the event.

Except for Türkgücü head coach Andreas Heraf, who shared his feelings in the parking lot.

Türkgücü reports - Coach Heraf sad: "But in truth we somehow expected it"

"Obviously a sad moment for the club, for the players and for the coaching staff.

But in truth we kind of expected it because there have been rumors in the last few days.

And the contact has also become less and less,” reveals Heraf.

The situation near Türkgücü Munich was actually described by observers early on as almost hopeless.

It is also not new that the club kept its employees in the dark until the very end.

A day before the meeting, a professional complained anonymously that nobody was telling the players anything.

"But if it's really finally said again, it's another blow to the neck that seals the whole thing," Heraf now states.

The Austrian had already given his team the whole week off.

So there will be no return to the training ground.

“Eleven points deducted a big factor”: Heraf laments Türkgücü’s hopeless search for investors

Managing director Max Kothny had pointed out in a club announcement that the club simply could not keep up the game operations without new money.

The DFB's eleven-point penalty was also partly responsible for the failed search for an investor.

Against which Türkgücü resisted to the last.

Heraf also agrees: “He told us that of course he tried everything to find an investor to be able to continue the whole thing.

Unfortunately that didn't work.

I think that eleven points deduction was the big factor.

Because if we had been closer, with the performances that the boys have given in the last few games, we could have achieved non-relegation.

But with the eleven points, the situation was pretty hopeless.

And so nobody was found who wanted to invest money here again.”

The chapter of professional football at Türkgücü Munich is over from one day to the next.

How it will continue in the next season is currently completely unclear.

The club announced that a decision would be made in the next few weeks.
