Thanks to the dramatic 74:75 over Real Madrid tonight (Thursday), Maccabi Tel Aviv came so close to touching the stage of the Euroleague quarterfinals.
The Yellows now hold a record of 13 wins and 11 losses and are in sixth place with one game more than Bayern Munich VII (which will hold an internal advantage in case the teams finish with the same balance).
Avi Even and his trainees have four more games left until the end of the regular season: Panayenikos (H), Villarban (B), Barcelona (H) and Fenerbahce (B).
Apparently, only one win from the remaining games will be enough for the Yellows to secure promotion to the quarterfinals.
If they get 2-3 wins they can also find themselves in 5-6 places that will prevent them from a series against Barcelona and Real Holdings.
