A day before the friendly match between the German and Israeli national teams, the chairman of the Football Association, Oren Hasson, and the president of the German association, Brand Nondhof, signed a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the German association's offices in Frankfurt.
The Memorandum of Understanding ensures cooperation between the two associations in everything related to training, development of the scouting department, women's soccer, referees, innovation and technology, social responsibility, marketing, youth and children departments, medicine and games between the various teams of the two associations.
The signing was attended by Hasson and the head of the national team and training division, Guy Portniagin, together with the president of the German association and the general manager, Heike Ulrich.
After the signing, the new and impressive complex of the German association was presented to Hasson and Portniagin.
Oren Hasson: "The cooperation agreement between the two associations contributes in much broader aspects than just football.
The date is special in light of the game between the senior teams here in Germany and the meeting on Tuesday in Israel of the two young teams.
"The agreement has strong roots in the past, it is part of our present and it promises the two associations and the two peoples partnership, friendship and work hand in hand towards an even better future."
