After the bitter derby defeat in Moosinning, TSV Dorfen will have their next top game this Saturday.
Dorfen – At 2:30 p.m., the fourth-placed side welcomes second-placed ESV Freilassing, who have won the last ten games.
It is up to the strong Dorfen team to break this impressive series.
Dorfen's coach Christoph Deißenböck doesn't really care about the opponent's strong form.
"Of course we have a lot of respect for Freilassing, but every game in the league is difficult, as you've seen in the last few weeks.
And it won't be any different today.” He also has words of praise for the opponent.
“They are crazy in terms of play and have a really strong striker up front in Albert Deiter.
But the rest of the squad is also very high quality.
Seen over the course of the season, they are probably still a bit ahead of us, but anything is possible in one game.” He adds confidently: “We haven't lost a game at home this season and were able to win away at Freilassing in the first half of the season.
With the fans behind me, I'm sure we'll put in a great performance.
In terms of personnel, the situation at TSV has become tense.
Captain Andreas Hartl and regular keeper Alexander Wolf will be out due to illness.
Alex Heilmeier and Fabio Zöller will also be absent due to injury.
According to the coach, Daniel Roppert could get his first minutes of action.
Deissenböck explains his point of view on the subject of failures.
"I don't like to talk about the missing players, I prefer to talk about the ones that are available to me.
Failures are part of it, you can't change anything about that," he says.
"I'm concentrating on the fit players and I trust that they will fix it.
I'm not a fan of whining about failures."
