FC Bayern Munich briefly played 12 players at SC Freiburg.

After the game, the exchange chaos was cleared up.

Freiburg – SC Freiburg was expecting FC Bayern Munich on Saturday afternoon (read the ticker).

There was a curious scene: FC Bayern made a change in the closing stages, but Kingsley Coman didn't realize that he was being substituted.

He stayed on the pitch - so the Munich team were twelve for around 20 seconds.

Long discussions followed, and the game was finally continued with a referee ball.

There was eight minutes of stoppage time.

We collected the votes on the game - of course the substitution mistake was the big topic of conversation.

Julian Nagelsmann (FC Bayern Munich coach) after the game over ...

… the change mistake: “It was confused.

Coco is in, I think, on the toilet.

Then there was a mess.

Then the wrong number was on the board, not Kingsley's eleven.

Mistakes happen.

From the point of view of both teams, from the point of view of a fair sport, there was nothing that speaks against it being fair.

You make a good game here and then everyone stands there and asks about the rules.

I never paid attention to rules anyway - just kidding, greetings to Lutz Wagner."

Manuel Neuer (Captain FC Bayern Munich) after the game over ...

… the change mistake: “I have no major concerns.

Not much happened in 20 seconds.

I assume everything counts.”

Christian Dingert (referee at Bayern's victory in Freiburg) after the game over ...

... the change error.

"It was a totally confused situation: It was a double change from Bayern Munich.

An incorrect number was initially displayed, which is why the player Coman did not feel addressed with the number eleven.

That's why a twelfth player was on the field for a short time, which shouldn't be.

We noticed and then stopped the game.

We then consulted each other, and then we continued with a referee ball.

It's annoying for us because of course that scene is the focus now.

We will note this in the game report.

15, 16 seconds was the game with twelve players.

No goal happened.

We'll note that, the DFB will decide everything else." The DFB rule is relatively clear in such a situation.

Jochen Saier (Sports Director SC Freiburg) after the game over ...

… the change mistake: “To be honest, I have to look at it again in peace.

We drew the referee's attention to the fact that Bayern have eleven outfield players.

I don't know how long, I don't think it was that long.

Then Coman slowly walked off the field.

That was an extremely bizarre scene that I have never experienced before.

Does that have an impact?

I can not judge over this.

The referee evaluated it for a long time, then let play continue.

It was very emotional, we have to boil it down a bit now and then think about it.”

Nico Schlotterbeck (SC Freiburg defender) after the game over...

… the change mistake: “Niki Süle comes in and I noticed that nobody goes out.

Then the game is played, I first counted and then informed the referee.

If I don't do that, he won't see it, I don't think.

And then, I don't know, there were twelve men, but what that is..."

Christian Streich (coach SC Freiburg) before the game about ...

... the international matches of Flekken and Schlotterbeck: "Both were good, calm and clear in their game.

They came back on Thursday, we talked about it briefly.

But we didn't have long."

… the extension of Nils Petersen: “It took a while because you speak openly and Nils has to make a decision.

He then has to stand by it 100 percent.

He's an exceptional centre-forward, the fans love him.

I'm really happy that we can work together for at least another year.

That's great."

… the chances against Bayern: “You have to take a lot of things into account.

You have to act very quickly, you must not allow an open exchange of blows.

Maybe we can design the game in such a way that it becomes difficult for Bayern.”

… the line-up: “Three or four other variants would have been possible.

The decisive factor is not the system, but how it is implemented.”

… his record against Nagelsmann: “I lost a lot against Kloppo, probably against Julian too.

It's difficult to play against him - because he has incredibly good teams and because he's an incredibly good coach.

The two components together are not good.”

Julian Nagelsmann (FC Bayern Munich coach) before the game about ...

... SC Freiburg: "They are very well trained and have been working together for years.

The players know Christian Streich's ideas, he's variable and can change things up in the game.

He's a cheerleader.

It's always a challenge to play here.”

... the championship race: "It also depends on what Dortmund is doing.

If we win and they lose, it looks good.”

... Joshua Kimmich: "The offspring aren't here yet.

He flew in this morning, I assume he'll be available for the whole game."

... Goretzka's comeback: "Leon should enjoy it, that's the most important thing for me.

It should get a rhythm, it shouldn't be too cerebral.

He should play the way he trained.

That was exceptionally good.”

… his line-up: “A chain of four is planned, we deliberately chose the order that way.

But we have the option of a back three.”

... the bank of Musiala: “Charge control.

He played all the games, including for the national team.

It's not a performance reason.

We also want it to be 100 percent fresh on Wednesday.”

… the battered Lewandowski: “I hope he doesn’t get too many hits on the rib.

But he really wanted to start, let's see how long it lasts."
