Olympic champion Artium Dolgofyat, today (Saturday) won the gold medal at the World Cup held in Baku, Azerbaijan, in his powerful ground exercise.
The 24-year-old Dolgofiat, who advanced to the last eight when he ranked first, put up a good exercise in the final and scored 14.7 points placing him at the top of the podium, for the third time in a row, after winning gold with Cairo World Cup gold and Qatar in early February.
The podium picture, completed by Kazakh Milad Karimi, Asian runner-up with 14.3 points and the confidence of the Irish Montgomery, was won by Bard with 14.066 points.

Dolgofiat will also participate in the jumping table final tomorrow, after rising from sixth place, when with the same device Andrei Medvedev, a bronze medalist from last year's world jumping championship and European runner-up, advanced to the final from first place.
Alex Miakinin will participate in the suspense final.
The Baku World Cup is the fourth and final round, and is a criterion for the World Cup, which will be held in October in Liverpool.
