Damascus-SANA
The Army team won the Damascus Basketball Championship for players under 16 years old, after defeating Al-Wehda 82-76 points in the final match that was held at Al-Fayhaa Sub Hall.
Sahnaya team ranked third after defeating the Governorate team with a score of 68-53 points.
The army team was represented by Walid Al-Sabbagh, Hamza Seddiqa, Karam Al-Khalidi, Abdel-Rahman Gomaa, Abdullah Shaheen, Zaid Omar Tambi, Omar Hassan Rafaa, Tim Abdeen, Abdel-Rahman Habash, Laith Al-Azzawi, Laith Al-Lahham, and Zain Qadri, under the supervision of coach Haidar Ayush and administrators Osama Tamer and Nader Itoni.
Al-Wahda team won the Damascus Championship for under-16 players by winning the final match over Ashrafieh 82-72 points, and Al-Fayhaa team came third with a victory over Elite 52-47 points.
