DFB rule is clear - expert thinks differently

Is Bayern threatened with an aftermath after Freiburg's mistake?

The DFB statutes are clear, the experts disagree.

Freiburg/Munich - It was probably the strangest scene of Bayern's victory in Freiburg: Kingsley Coman was substituted in the 86th minute, and Marcel Sabitzer was to replace him for the last few minutes.

Niklas Süle also came for Corentin Tolisso.

According to paragraph 17 paragraph 4 of the legal and procedural rules of the German Football Association (DFB), the error could have consequences for the rating of the game.

"If a player was not eligible to play or field a game in a game, the team that culpably fielded that player lost the game 2-0 and the opponent won 2-0, unless that The game had not yet been continued by the referee after the player who was not eligible to play or used the game," it said.
