They wanted to replace 1860 as number two in Munich - and are now faced with nothing.

But: Not everything at Türkgücü was bad.

A comment by Uli Kellner.

It's over, the final whistle after 31 of 38 match days, which corresponds to the 75th minute of a football game.

It's the phase when things get exciting - and anyone who has ever experienced a game being abandoned: Nothing is more frustrating than a burst show for everyone involved.

Where Türkgücü has earned the early exclusion from professional football.

Shooting up quickly, without the corresponding financial foundation.

Made himself dependent on a moody autocrat.

Even in winter, an unsuspecting coach was lured in under the pretense of glorified future prospects.

In Türkgücü a club says goodbye that the public didn't love.

Not even the stately Turkish community in the greater Munich area warmed to Hasan Kivran's project.

Only 1666 fans came to the home games on average, including the derby against 1860 with 8503 spectators.

Only Dortmund II, Havelse and Verl have lower approval ratings among the 54 clubs in the German professional leagues.

And yet: Subjectively, one could find the football club founded by guest workers quite exciting.

It wasn't boring when Kivran was in his mood, the young managing director Max Kothny went into verbal infighting with the 60 war horse Mölders - even the lamentation "We against the rest of the world" (including the threat of home games in NRW) had a certain something Charm.

So it's a shame that it turned out that way.

After Munich had to offer third division derbies en masse last season, next season 1860 will probably have to hold up the colors of the state capital alone.

In Türkgücü and the DFB, which has insufficiently fulfilled its financial supervision obligations, two big losers of this season have been determined prematurely.

But there are also winners.

This does not mean the lions, who benefit in terms of points from the end of their (unloved) city rivals.

The real winners are the trainer Andreas Heraf and his professionals, who have shown great sportsmanship since insolvency was sealed in February, salaries were reduced and there was little hope of rescue.

1860 defeated, also the league leaders Magdeburg (both 2:1).

The team fought, scratched, bit, showed character and also protected sporting competition to the last.

All of this should be kept in mind when the club celebrates its comeback in the Bavarian provinces next year.
