Since the war between Russia and Ukraine began about a month and a half ago, in many sports games such and other protest ceremonies are held to express opposition to the war.
Before the opening of the Euroleague games, the players carry a sign that reads "STOP WAR".
Serbian players were not holding the 'Stop The War' banner during Zalgiris v Crvena Zvezda.

Tonight (Sunday) in the rematch in Lithuania where Zalgiris Kaunas hosts the Red Star Belgrade, an unusual incident occurred.
The Red Star players refused to cooperate with the protest against the war, and received contemptuous whistles from the crowd at the Zalgirio Arena, known for its great opposition to Russia.
As you may recall, the three Russian teams that participated in the Euroleague this season were expelled from the factory following the invasion of Ukraine, and the results obtained against them were deleted.
This decision helped Maccabi Tel Aviv qualify for the playoffs for the first time since the 2014/15 season.
