The Brazilian federation has approached the entourage of the Manchester City coach so that he becomes the coach of the Seleca

And if the next coach of Brazil was Pep Guardiola the current coach of Manchester City?

For the moment, there is nothing signed but according to several Brazilian media, the Brazilian Federation (CBF) has gone beyond the project stage to enlist the Spanish mentor.

For the moment, the Seleção is led by Tite and he will remain in office until the World Cup in Qatar in December 2002. With the hope for a whole people of bringing back the trophy which has been leaking from the country of Futebol for exactly 20 years.

Tite's contract will end when Qatar returns, even if Brazil are world champions.

The federation is therefore preparing the next move and who better to lead the most legendary selection on the planet than the one who is perhaps the best coach in the world?

The CBF got in touch with Pep Guardiola's agent who is his own brother.

The Brazilians, according to local media, seem optimistic about their initiative.

They want to offer Guardiola a contract until 2026 for the World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

But there are two big snags all the same in the negotiation to be solved.

1. The salary of Guardiola, one of the most expensive coaches in the world of football.

Brazil wants to offer him a contract of 12M€ per year: a crazy sum but below what he receives in Manchester: 20M€.

The CBF will have to make an extra effort.

2. At City, the former Barcelona and Bayern coach has extended his contract until 2023. The Brazilian federation, if it wants to, will therefore have to either buy out his contract or accept and make City accept only during the first semester 2023, he holds both positions.
