Despite its modest capabilities, Nassib Sports Club in Daraa countryside managed to make its way to the limelight with several games and achieve outstanding results and various medals in the governorate and republic championships.
The club’s president, Marei Abu Zreik, said in a statement to SANA that the club’s players participated in several tournaments and obtained good results, which was positively reflected on their technical level in various games and also resulted in the invitation of some of them to the national teams.
Abu Zureik added: Since the beginning of this year, we have participated in three karate championships, and won three medals in the first, through Yahya Bagbouj, Mustafa Masalma and Milad Al-Balkhi, in the second five medals through Ahmed Zureikat, Dujana Al-Sharif, Haitham Qassem, Muhammad Firas Saleh and Muhammad Nour Masalma, and in the third 10 medals for players Mustafa Al-Masalma. Yahya Bajabouj, Tim Abu Zureik, Milad Al-Balkhi, Hassan Al-Radi, Muhammad Hassan Al-Sharif, Muhammad Wael Al-Sharif, Hashem Al-Zoubi, Youssef Al-Radi and Amin Masalmeh.
Abu Zureik pointed out that the club did not stop its achievement in karate only, but also in kickboxing, so we won various medals in the republic’s championships through Saleh Al-Fashtaki, Hammam Al-Radi, Murhaf Abu Qwaider, Muhammad Ahmed, Moamen Qaddah, Abdullah Al-Qiq, Firas Masalmah and Mahmoud Al-Balkhi, indicating that these achievements It did not come out of nowhere, but rather it came with effort, perseverance and training
Karate coach Abdul Majeed Al-Sharif confirmed that Nassib Club has excellent materials that need more attention and support, pointing out that the club's players were able to achieve excellent results with modest capabilities if taking into account the recent establishment of the club and the lack of equipment.
With regard to football, the coach of the junior team, Muayyad Al-Sharif, said that his team was able to achieve first place at the governorate level and will represent a shield in the Qatar Championship. Our ambition is to reach advanced positions in it because we have talents that deserve to be refined to reach the ranks of the national team.
As for the men's football coach, Ahmed Al-Rifai, he indicated that the club was able in a short period of time to move from the third to the second division after achieving first place at the governorate level, stressing that preparation and preparation is continuing for the upcoming tournaments.
It is noteworthy that the club was established in September of the year 2020, and it plays several games, most notably football, karate and kickboxing.
